Process instrumentation. Jordan's process industry is concentrated but substantial: potash and bromine extraction at the Dead Sea, phosphate mining and fertiliser production, the Zarqa refinery, cement, and a pharmaceutical sector that exports across the region. Dead Sea operations are a particularly demanding instrumentation environment — brine is aggressive enough that wetted material selection matters more than price.
Packing and sealing machinery. Pharmaceutical manufacturing, food processing, bottled water and consumer goods all pack for domestic and export markets. Jordanian plants are typically mid-sized and buy one or two machines with spares — an order profile that suits us well.
Jordan also functions as an overland gateway. Trading houses in Amman and Aqaba supply projects in Iraq and the wider Levant by road, and several of our Jordanian enquiries are for onward delivery rather than local use. Documentation is where an export order is won or delayed, and Jordan has its own requirements. Every consignment we ship carries a commercial invoice and packing list that match the goods line for line, a Certificate of Origin, material test certificates for wetted parts where the datasheet calls for them, and traceable calibration certificates for the instruments that need them.
Jordanian imports are regulated by the Jordan Standards and Metrology Organization, with conformity documentation lodged by the Jordanian importer. Goods entering through the Aqaba Special Economic Zone follow that zone's own procedure. We supply the technical file, material and calibration certificates and declarations in the format the importer's clearing agent requires. We say this plainly rather than promising to "handle it", because a supplier who claims to issue a certificate they cannot issue is a supplier whose container gets held.
