YEIDA is unlike every other page on this site, and it is worth saying so plainly. The Yamuna Expressway industrial sectors around Jewar are not an established belt with decades of plant to service. They are plots being allotted, foundations being poured and plants being commissioned right now.
The apparel park, the toy park, the electronics clusters and the MSME plots are all at various stages of construction. The airport is drawing logistics and warehousing with it. In five years this will be one of the larger industrial concentrations in the region; today it is largely a project market.
That means almost every enquiry we receive from here is for something that does not exist yet. There is no nameplate to photograph and no tag to match. There is a drawing, a process description, sometimes only a machinery list from an equipment supplier, and a date by which the plant has to run.
Someone who will read the drawing properly. A P&ID or an equipment schedule almost always has gaps — a range not stated, a wetted material assumed, an area classification missing. The supplier who asks about them before manufacture saves a commissioning problem; the one who assumes creates one.
The schedule arriving together. A loop check stops just as completely for one missing item as for twenty. We confirm the delivery date in writing before accepting the order, not after.
Documentation ready at handover. Calibration certificates with as-found and as-left readings, material certificates for wetted parts, CCoE certificates for flameproof items. The consultant asks for all of it at the least convenient moment, and assembling it afterwards is far harder.
Somebody present during commissioning. Ranging smart instruments, resolving where the drawing and the built plant disagree, and signing loop check sheets — that is when a project either runs or stalls.
A packing line designed rather than assembled. A new plant is the one moment when the despatch bay can be laid out properly. Almost nobody uses it, and the bay becomes the bottleneck within two years.

At commissioning. Loop checking, ranging, resolving drawing-versus-site differences, and site acceptance testing support. Being 80 km away on a good expressway, that support is practical rather than theoretical.
And afterwards. Set up the calibration schedule while the project team is still on site. Reconstructing it two years later, after the people who commissioned the plant have moved on, is far harder than establishing it now.
