Most packing machinery is designed around a carton — a light, square, predictable thing that behaves the same every time. Ghaziabad does not despatch cartons. It despatches steel bundles, coils, cut lengths, pipe, fabricated assemblies and reprocessed material in bulk.
That difference runs through every part of the specification. The strapping frame has to take the load without flexing. The tension range has to reach higher than a carton machine offers. The handling equipment has to be rated for real mill weights, not warehouse weights. And the wear rate on everything is higher because the product is abrasive.
It also means the failure modes are different. A carton machine that is slightly out of adjustment produces an untidy seal. A strapping machine that is out of adjustment on thin sheet marks the product, and marked product is a customer conversation.

Carton-rated machines used on bundles. A frame designed for cartons flexes under a steel bundle, the strap does not seat properly, and the machine is written off as poor quality when it was simply the wrong machine.
Pallet trucks rated for a warehouse. A truck rated at 2500 kg on a smooth floor is not rated for that on a mill floor with scale and uneven surface. Wheels and bearings go first, and it is read as a quality problem.
Sealing elements consumed faster than anyone plans for. Heavy strapping cycles wear the element quicker than carton work does. Plants that stock on a carton-line assumption run out mid-shift.
Dust and scale in the machine. A mill environment is hard on guides and tracks. Simpler machines that can be cleaned out survive here; sophisticated ones with enclosed mechanisms do not.
