| Send this | Example | If you leave it out |
|---|---|---|
| Medium | Saturated steam, 35% caustic, wet gas | We guess the material and often guess wrong |
| Pressure | Working 8 bar, design 12 bar | Range and rating cannot be fixed |
| Temperature | Working 180 °C, maximum 220 °C | We cannot tell you a seal or siphon is needed |
| Connection | 1/2" NPT (M), or 1" ANSI 150 RF | Wrong thread means a site problem, not a quote problem |
| Wetted material | SS316L / Hastelloy C / PTFE lined | Material is the usual cause of early failure |
| Area classification | Safe / Zone 1 IIB T4 | Certification changes price and lead time a lot |
| Output | 4-20 mA + HART, or local dial only | Decides the whole instrument family |
| Quantity and date | 12 nos, required by 30 September | We schedule and confirm in writing |
| Incoterm (export) | FOB Nhava Sheva / CIF Jebel Ali | Freight and insurance change the number |
A project datasheet or tag list answers everything on this page at once. We build to it, and where it has a gap we come back with a question rather than an assumption.
A clear photo of the instrument you are replacing, with the nameplate readable, tells us the size, connection and often the range and manufacturer. This is the fastest route for a maintenance replacement.
The instrument has to survive the maximum, not the average. Give us the design pressure and the maximum temperature — those are the numbers that size the item.
Not "chemical" but the name and concentration. Material selection follows from chemistry, and a wrong material fails in weeks rather than years.
This changes price and lead time more than anything else on the list. If it is classified, we need zone, gas group and temperature class.
Stock items ship in days. Built-to-datasheet items are scheduled, and we confirm the date in writing before accepting the order rather than after.
FOB, CFR or CIF, and the port of discharge. We quote all three on request, and the conformity route for your country is raised at quotation stage, not at shipment.
WhatsApp a photo of the nameplate to +91 98107 02836. For a like-for-like replacement this is usually enough.
Email the datasheet or tag list to sales@vedikainstruments.com. Bulk enquiries raised as an RFQ get a consolidated offer within 24 hours.
Send what you have and say so. We would rather ask two questions than quote the wrong instrument.
Medium, working and maximum pressure and temperature, connection size and standard, and whether the area is classified. Everything else we can propose.
Often yes, for a like-for-like replacement, if the nameplate is readable. For a new application we need the process conditions as well.
Within one working day for standard items. Bulk RFQs receive a consolidated offer within 24 hours.
Yes — most of what we build is exactly that. We size, build, certify and document to the datasheet.
A GST e-invoice with IRN, a test certificate, and on request a traceable calibration certificate and material test certificates for wetted parts.
Send the datasheet, tag list, or a photograph of the nameplate. Whatever you have is enough to start.
